Goals and commitments: what is the difference between these two? And shouldn’t there be synthetic consequences for goals as well as commitments? Someone asked me this question and it got me thinking. Was there a difference and should there be consequences for goals not met/kept?
There are many different circumstances where these questions could arise. A goal is a baby step to a commitment. You can have lots of goals, but you have to make a commitment to make it happen. A goal is/can always be there. But a commitment takes…well, commitment. It’s where you say “I’m going to do this on this day at this time…” and then you make it happen.
