When my oldest child was four years old, I decided that he needed to be home-schooled. At this point, I started studying education and models for learning environments. I read every home school book and article I could get my hands on, because I wasn’t sure what teaching a home was supposed to look like or what principles to follow. How was I going to teach math? I have found that most parents who choose to home-school go through this same process. And I have found that most parents, including myself, get the most help by talking to someone who has already attained success.
When I was reading all those home school books, I learned a lot, but I still couldn’t see how it was going to look in my home. I went to other seasoned home-schooling families to find that out.
This Download Is A Conversation With A Mother New to Home-Schooling
A few days after the conversation, the mother of this young mother saw me and gave me a big hug. She said, “Nicholeen, thank you so much for what you have done for my daughter and her family. It was amazing! Thank you. Thank you.”
I realized that all these people who are constantly asking me questions about home-schooling might want to here this conversation too.
HERE is a one-minute clip where I explain to the Implentation Course what is in this class, and how it can help you if you home-school or not.
