What Age To Start Disciplining Children?

In this video, I explain when you can begin discipline by describing how parents can teach children cause and effect, boundaries, and self-regulation even before they can speak in full sentences. By discipline, I mean teaching language, behavior expectations, and self-regulation from early infancy. I explain that children interpret language and environmental cues long before they can form complete sentences, and that teaching these skills lays the foundation for later discipline.
