Personality disorder within the family

I have been deeply impacted by loved ones who have a narcissistic personality disorder, one being my husband. It has had a devastating affect on our family.
I am disappointed I was never taught about this growing up and I would like to teach my children about it, so they have a better chance of recognizing the red flags. How can this be done?
