Calm

How do you handle when kids are just continually just a wee bit snarky, rude, etc. When we give instructions they often are not a compete picture of calm. They will just have a hint of resentment, unwillingness, condescension. It seems like such a petty thing to correct them and give them a chore, but yet, it is not really "calm" either. They seem to be in a habit of speaking to my husband and I in a way that is rude. I am guessing we need to watch our tone and see what our tone is as well.
