vision and mission statement

Hi Nicholeen –
I'm working on the family vision/mission statement module in the online course. All of my children are grown and living out of the house, two married with children. And, sadly, I'm divorced. So there is no one at home to share a vision or mission statement with at present. I can and do still have a vison for how I would want to see family interactions 10 years from now, and of course grandchildren play a big role in that as well. And I do feel that my children share that vision in large (though maybe not in all the details) and want to be connected and close. But I'd like some guidance on a mission statement…would this just basically be my individual mission statement? I feel sad that I missed the opportunity to go through this process with my children when they were younger. 🙁
