Hi, I read your book a few years ago and implemented a few ideas, but didn't go all in with teaching all the skills in a formal way, having family meetings, etc. I'm currently reading the book again and watching lots of your videos in preparation to really dive into things as I'm seeing that our current system still has holes. We have a toddler, preschooler, and our three oldest are ages 10-14. I'm nervous to start the rule of three (for my three oldest) because I'm afraid they'll end up all three losing privileges for 24 hours at the same time toward the beginning and I'll end up so frazzled that I'll lose my temper and/or not be able to handle staying on top of the consequences logistically. They are not used to being expected to get calm and do their extra chores right away and my oldest especially has an explosive temper so this will be a big adjustment. Any suggestions for helping us be successful as we start using the rule of three? I'd love to hear any tips for how to prepare, and how to handle things with multiple children learning at the same time. I'm planning to have a family meeting about vision, pre teach the four skills, and pre teach the rule of three first, but I wonder if there are other things that need to be in place first? Thank you!
