Annoyed child

We were doing some shopping with the children and Josiah (8) gets very annoyed when anyone sings or looks at him or even moves a hockey stick up and down. He will ask them to stop and if they don’t listen he will yell and call them an idiot and continue yelling. His tolerances are very low and I get it he loves quiet but the singing is so cute and I’m not sure what to say to them.
Just for your info I have removed computer games completely in the last month and I was hoping this would improve attitudes but it has not. I’ve been spending more time playing ping pong with him and he loves it. But he continues to name call.
