Afraid of mom

Hi Nicholeen, my 7 year old daughter, who has high functioning autism recently told me she was afraid of me when her room is messy. For many years in the past I would go into emotional bondage and it wasn't good but this year with tsg I've gotten a lot better. She's still going into emotional bondage about it though. She's extremely repetitive and habitually places things in the middle of her room or leaves something laying wherever. We have Saturday morning chores and cleaning your room is one of them and this always ends in tears for her because it's so overwhelming. As a whole family we just got to the point where it's an extra chore if you don't put something back where you got it because with four children doing this, the house is always a disaster so we're starting to see a lithe progress with the home. How can I get my daughter to associate fun and happiness when it comes to her room and me? Thank you.
