Hello, My name is Amy. I am a wife and mother to 5 children and 6 step-children who all range from elementary school age through early adulthood. Teaching Self-Government has been a blessing in my life for over a decade. I am a second-generation homeschooler and greatly enjoy homeschooling my children. I also have personal and parental experience with several years in public school.
Teaching Self-Government has brought calmness to our home and family life through various challenges including moves, divorce, remarriage, school-related challenges, difficult child behaviors, and various mental health challenges. I'm grateful to have an opportunity to "give back" and share the Teaching Self-Government tools that have been a great service in my and my family's life.
