Public school

My child seem to have a leaning disability. Leaning it one day then the next day it's like it's all new. She was tested in first grade but test where all fine. Now going into 6th grade want her retested. I am her Aunt but have dealing with behaviors since she was 3.5 years ago. She will be seeing an neurologist in Dec. do to forgetting things. Can trauma as a child cause memory loss. She also has a lot of trouble making friends or keeping them. This makes her feel very bad.
