Child with anger issues

My 8 year old has serious anger issues, he's working on it at OT, but at home he honestly just seems to bully me (hits me, tries to hurt me, yells etc) and explodes over small things. I try to calm him, but he won't let me. He also fights with all his toys, pillows, literally everything has to fight. He's homeschooledled right now, but I'll be sending him back in the fall as I feel our relationship has plummeted since we started 2 years ago. Please help me as I don't want him to remain abusive or become more abusive as he gets older. We have been implementing TSG for a month now.
