Calming Down Consequnces Earned

Question:
When our children need to calm down, do we need to give them extra chores for each inappropriate behavior that occurs while they attempt to calm down in the calm down spot? Or do we only give them extra chores after they calm down for the initial behavior that caused them to go out of control in the first place?
