Preteach burn out

I feel burned out, like I am losing a chess game against my kids. We are doing so much better, but this form of parenting is a lot of work, with so much anticipation of what could go wrong and pre-teaching. I would love a list of things that could go wrong so that I can better anticipate, because sometimes it does catch me by surprise.

My nine-month-old, who has recently begun to resist basic routines like dressing, brushing teeth, being held, and using the potty, a marked change from his earlier cooperative behavior. How do you address early signs of defiance and ensure effective communication?

My six year old, typically cooperative and diligent, has started to exhibit unexpected resistance, leading to concerns about potential overpressure and the need to reassess our expectations and academic demands??. I recently doubled the workload, we were all sick for a month and I really wanted to work on behavior changes which led to us falling behind. It is important to note that she did not exhibit behavior issues, and did not contribute to us falling behind. She does not complain about her work load, she can generally complete it in three hours, is that too much work for 6? She is doing 4th grade curriculum. More recently, she has been having emotional moments when I ask her to exercise, go hiking, biking, snorkeling, or do anything out doors. These are things she use to love doing. She asked me the other day, when she had a bug bite and was super swollen if she would still be our perfect daughter. I don’t want her to strive for perfection because that will lead to burn out. Am I expecting too much from a 6 year old?

Seeking guidance, I am interested in strategies for preemptively teaching my children. Specifically, I'm looking for advice on managing a young baby's resistance to daily routines. I really would like help understanding sudden behavioral changes in a child previously characterized by obedience. maybe adjusting our educational pace and exploring ways to mitigate pressure while maintaining discipline are key considerations
