Teens bossing parents

What do we do about teens making demands about how we interact with their friends? For example, I serve at church and will mention that I talked to or introduced myself to someone that they know and they begin to dictate, "Don't ever talk to my friends!" We don't feel that it is the child's place to boss the parents but are unsure how to respond when this happens.
