24 hour loss of privileges

How do I implement the 24 hour loss of privileges without it taking over my whole day? I have 4 kids (6-12) and a husband who works from home (who likes a lot of attention) and homeschool. Whenever I’ve tried to follow through with the loss of privileges it takes over the day as my son (10) needs constant supervision and attention. I usually use the kids reading time or free time to attend to other kids lessons that require my attention or to make dinner, etc. but when I’ve tried to implement 24 loss of privileges, I don’t effectively follow through. I’m afraid this will lead to my son not taking the rule of 3 seriously and will undermine the program. As a result I hesitate to be as strict as I should be. Do you have any tips about implementing this? I feel like this turns into a punishment for the whole family and I have trouble sustaining it.
