Nap time for 3 yr old

My three year old won’t take her nap. She won’t stay in bed. She won’t close her eyes. Mostly she refuses to follow instruction. We just recently signed up, so please forgive the unlearned questions.
I worked with her for a couple
hours role playing how to say OK. She liked being the parent.
Also, she likes the books. (Paige takes the stage is her favorite). Also, she is very interested in the cards, and we talk about them a lot.
We have allowed her to become really picky about conditions for nap time. She gets her bear, her gloves, her sound machine, her horse, her favorite blanket.. placed on in just a particular way. The blinds must be closed. If any thing is amiss she will protest. And that’s on a good day. Today, nothing I can do or provide will get her to take her nap.
