Mentor meetings

When doing mentor meetings, you have and educational goal for the week. Could you explain what that would look like for you in your family. Would the educational goal be in the current schoolwork they were doing e.g., finishing off a workbook or practicing handwriting etc. Or on the other hand would it be centred around a positive extra curriculum they would like to study e.g., an animal, country, weather and if so, how far would you take this e.g., posters, writing a page on what they learned. I am wanting to understand how you would fit this into your homeschooling life and what it looked like in a week for your family. Thx
