We do have one re-occurring challenge though….when my we try to teach her new skills…like kicking a soccer ball or folding the laundry, etc. She does not want to listen to us and says that she wants to do it her way. In fact, she will try to take over and teach us her way. Most of the things that we are trying to teach her are just every day skills. On the other hand, she follows specific instructions……like, “I need for you to go make your bed….or I need for you to start your homework.” She has always been resistant to being taught ever since she was very small, …
