My Book

Readers,

I have been spending a lot of time writing my Teaching Self government book lately.  It is so exciting to see the progress and know that I am getting closer to accomplishing this goal.

On this site I have answered many questions.  I would like to use some of these questions (without names attatched of course) in parts of my book, because I know the answers will be beneficial to everyone who reads them.

This is a notice to let you know that I am planning on using some of the blog material in the book.  If you, for some reason, don’t want your question or comments published with the book, please email me and let me know.  You will need to send me a copy of your question etc, so that I can tag it in a not to be used folder.  Otherwise, I will use all of the great questions and comments that I can to enhance the book for future readers.

Getting Excited,

Nicholeen Peck

I, for one, can’t wait to read your book! So I am glad you have been able to find time to work on it. . .and I think it is a great idea to utilize the material that you’ve already written for the blog! Good luck and speedy writing!

Absolutely fine with me! I thought I’d pass on the most asked questions that friends give us when we share the concepts of self-government with them. Attention to the following frustrations in your book would be a HUGE help to many!!!

Lying, Tattling, Whining & General Bad Attitude, Treating others in a non-caring way…not necessarily “not following instructions, etc.” but simply rude & inconsiderate behavior.

One other thing…A good understanding of balance between all the teaching styles, not just the 4 basic skills and rule of 3, for PROACTIVE relationship building and parenting is a must we learned the hard way. Way more counseling and fun time as a family seems to counteract the need for constant disciplining.

Thanks for all your lifesaving ideas!!!
    Looking forward to your book!
